If you want to run the most effective and engaging practices and training session possible, this course is for you! Through a series of mini-lectures (about 5 minutes on average), this course covers just about every aspect of practice planning you can think of. It probably even covers some you haven't!

John Forman is the author of the highly respected Coaching Volleyball blog at CoachingVB.com. His coaching experience covers many different ages and levels. John coached US college volleyball for many years, as well as coaching and running a Juniors program, and got his start at the high school level. He was a very successful coach at both the university and club level in the U.K., and also coached professionally in Sweden, as well as having worked with pro teams in Germany. As the developer of Volleyball Coaching Wizards, John has been involved in interviewing dozens of the world's great coaches.
Along with his blogging, John has authored articles for the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) magazine Coaching Volleyball and the digital edition, Coaching Volleyball 2.0. He also published the book Inside College Volleyball, which focuses on college recruiting.
You might have noticed the Sample Practice Plans sections in the curriculum above. That is where I am posting practice plans I design based on student requests. As a course student you will be able to submit a practice plan request to me and I will design something based on your specifications.
Think of this as my way of showing you the concepts from the course in actual practice. As comments from one student indicates, this can be helpful on multiple levels.
